Meet Dr. Rei Iwase
Hello, I’m Dr. Rei Iwase!
I grew up in Plano, and attended Prince of Peace Christian School. I went on to graduate from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science in microbiology. I earned my dental degree from Baylor College of Dentistry and continued on to receive my specialty training in pediatric dentistry at Baylor College of Dentistry, Children’s Medical Center, and Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children in Dallas. During my schooling, I become aware of my passion for teaching and mentoring.
As a pediatric dentist, I have the opportunity to foster positive attitudes toward dental health in children by providing care in a safe and friendly environment. The best parts of my day are when I get to laugh and sing with my patients!
I am board certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and an active member of the American Dental Association, College of Diplomates of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Greater Dallas Pediatric Dental Society, Texas Dental Association, and Dallas County Dental Society.
Outside of the office, I spend my time volunteering with Big Brothers Big Sisters, the Dallas Junior League, and the Perot Museum of Nature and Science. I enjoying staying involved with my church, cooking, Pilates, reading, and playing with my dog, Charles.
